Abe Owens

Coach

A Kalispell native, Abe was born and raised in the Flathead Valley and played baseball through high school. Following graduation in 2001, he joined the United States Marine Corps, serving two tours in Iraq with the 11th Marines.

He began coaching in 2010 and has worked with players at every level from Pee Wee through American Legion baseball. His involvement in the local baseball community also includes five years of service on the Babe Ruth Board. He joined the Kalispell Sluggers in 2025 and coached the 11U/12U Sluggers team this past summer.

Abe is USA Baseball A, B and C certified and is also USA Baseball Umpire certified. He brings extensive coaching experience, a commitment to player development, and a passion for giving back to the Kalispell baseball community.
